July: Realignment + Real Estate

July reminded me that strategy isn’t just about numbers, it’s about timing, clarity, and building with intention.

I hit pause on new clients to go deeper with current projects and carve out space to map something new: a group renovation mentorship Renovate Like a Pro coming this fall for investors and creatives who want support without the full 1:1 process.

I also shared some great local shops, kicked off a new Get Interviewed feature, and stayed rooted in what makes this work matter: good design, smart investments, and strong community.

Here’s what surfaced and what’s next...

7681 Acoma Trail, Yucca Valley

This thoughtfully updated 2-bedroom, 1-bath home near Old Town Yucca Valley is officially back in escrow.

61800 Belmont St, Joshua Tree | $111,000

Price Improvement: Originally $144,000 → Now $111,000

What You’ll Love:
• Legal access, power, and water at the street
• One Joshua Tree (yes, just one, easier for permitting)
• Vintage homestead recreational cabin eligible for alteration or addition permit vs new build
• Conceptual architectural renderings included
• Short drive to downtown Joshua Tree yet stunning expansive views

1853 Winfield Rd, Joshua Tree | $69K

Located in North Sunfair Heights, this 5-acre lot includes:
✔️ Water meter paid + connected
✔️ Zoning for up to 14 residential units
✔️ Existing concrete slab from prior homestead
✔️ Power nearby + unobstructed views

Here’s the real game-changer:
With the right tax strategy and a cost segregation study, this land may qualify for 100% bonus depreciation. That means you could potentially write off a major portion of your investment in the same year you buy.

Reflecting + Recalibrating

I’ve been sharing a little less lately, not because I’m checked out, but because I’m deep in it. Client calendars are full, projects are moving with care, and behind the scenes, I’m also pouring back into what matters most, my family, my partner, and my “why.”

If you’re on my current client project list, I’m here. Fully present. And beyond grateful for your trust. I am not going anywhere.

Looking ahead:
✔️ I’ll continue offering 1:1 consulting more selectively
✔️ Currently booked through July (4-week waitlist)
✔️ VIP Fast Track available for priority support
✔️ Discovery calls reopen in August

If you’re ready to work together, plan ahead. I’ll be introducing a brief application process to ensure alignment.

Joshua Tree & 29 Palms Adventures

Joshua Tree Friday Crawl

Our team spent a vibrant Friday afternoon discovering the charm of downtown Joshua Tree. We began at The Station, where we took in the iconic Big Josh and browsed a curated selection of local finds. At JT Trading Post, we explored thoughtfully crafted goods from regional brands like Rancho Relaxo and Stray Ceramics and even marked the day with matching permanent jewelry by Desert Lux. A quick bite at Dez Fine Food and a wine stop at Joshua Tree Bottle Shop added to the experience. We continued to Sun of the Desert for seasonal home and lifestyle pieces, followed by a relaxing garden break featuring mural views by Amber Morgan. From handcrafted hats at Industry of All Nations to browsing local art and books at HeyThere Projects, the day ended perfectly with refreshing drinks and sourdough pizza at Sky High Pie. This curated local journey was the ideal kickoff to our desert series.

29 Palms Ride-Along

We had an unforgettable time teaming up with @highdesertebike to explore 29 Palms on two wheels. With rates starting at $25/hour (minimum 2 hours) and convenient delivery to your location, it's the perfect way to experience the desert breeze. On our tour, we cruised by the new Snake Bite 29 Palms, rolled into Joshua Tree National Park, admired local sculptures, and ended the day with a locals’ night drink at the 29 Palms Inn. Whether you’re exploring solo or planning an adventure with friends, an e-bike ride through 29 Palms offers the perfect mix of fun, freedom, and fresh desert air. Tag your ride buddy and plan your own route!

Final Thoughts: Rooted in Strategy, Ready to Grow

Ask ChatGPTFinal Thoughts: Rooted in Strategy, Ready to Grow

July was about remembering why I do this work: to help people turn creative visions into real-world impact. To support smart growth in the places we love. And to remind you that with the right strategy, the desert gives back.
