Curated by Jessica: November Highlights

December 02, 2025

A Month of Gratitude, Pause, and What’s Next

November was such a grounding month. As the year winds down, I’ve been reflecting on everything 2025 brought, beautiful projects, inspiring clients, creative collaborations, and the steady growth of a community that truly values thoughtful design and intentional living. I’m incredibly grateful for every conversation, every walkthrough, every renovation win, and every person who trusted me to help bring their vision to life.

November reminded me to slow down, appreciate the work we’ve done, and create space for what’s coming. And as we move into December, we’re taking a small breather, just our holiday break from December 23rd to January 4th, to reset before stepping into 2026 with offerings that are even more dialed-in, streamlined, and aligned with how people actually want to live, build, and design.

Until then… here’s what we’ve been loving, creating, and celebrating from last month, and what we’re looking forward to next.

Featured Investment - The Golden Slipper (Formerly Landers Brew)

A beloved desert landmark is stepping into its next chapter as The Golden Slipper, a restaurant, bar, and music venue with approved permits and a build-out that’s ready to move forward.

This project blends everything we love about High Desert investments:
✨ heritage and story - a space locals already feel connected to
✨ design potential - a structure begging for thoughtful revival
✨ business viability - a rare, ready-to-execute hospitality opportunity

The Golden Slipper offers the kind of investment that doesn’t just promise returns, it creates cultural impact. It’s a chance to restore a community hub while shaping the next era of dining and music in the desert.

If you’ve been looking for an opportunity rooted in nostalgia, positioned in a high-visibility location, and supported by real numbers, this is the one to look at closely.

Creative Spotlight: Victoria Posh

Some people don’t just take photos, they make you feel something.

I’m so grateful to feature @victoriaposhhh / @victoriaposhphotography in this month’s #GetInterviewed series, celebrating creatives shaping the desert community.

We first connected in L.A. I was hosting events, she was behind the camera capturing every moment with heart. Now we both call Joshua Tree home, and I’ve watched her grow into an inspiring creative, mother, and community builder.

She captures energy, emotion, and the story behind every shot, whether it’s a brand, a property, or a moment that matters.

Meet the Cure Designs Team 🤎

What started as a one-woman show, just me, my laptop, and a big vision to build a life and business in the desert, has grown into something I’m truly grateful for.

I’m Jessica Cure, founder of Cure Designs, a real estate consulting studio sitting at the intersection of Planning, Design, Project Management, and Marketing. I’m also a Realtor with EXP Realty and a Planning Commissioner for the City of Twentynine Palms.

My work bridges land use, entitlements, design, and project management to help investors, developers, and small business owners turn ideas into action and action into ROI.

But Cure Designs isn’t just me anymore, and I’m so thankful for that.

Aubrey - Executive Assistant
Aubrey joined me over a year ago and quickly became the operational backbone of this business. From systems and communication to scheduling and backend organization, if it runs smoothly, it’s because of her.

Sarah - Project Coordinator
Sarah is our boots-on-the-ground in Joshua Tree. With her background in business, organization, and design, she supports project management from start to finish, keeping timelines, deliverables, and client support on track.

Together, we’re wrapping up Q4 with a focus on refining systems, strengthening the backend, and elevating how we serve clients, more streamlined, more strategic, and more supportive than ever.

And yes… we’re already building what’s coming in 2026:
upgraded 1:1 consulting, Renovate Like a Pro, and a few exciting surprises.

Healthy Homes: More Than a Trend

This month, I’ve been thinking a lot about what makes a home truly healthy, not just stylish or updated, but:

• better airflow
• non-toxic materials
• intentional lighting
• efficient climate control
• spaces that support calm, creativity, and connection

Design shouldn’t just look good, it should help you feel good.
That’s the direction renovations are headed, and we’re here for it.

Recipe Feature: Apple Cider Aperol Spritz

Hosting just got a whole lot tastier.

I discovered this festive fall twist on Pinterest and served it at a recent open house at one of my luxury listings, and it was a hit.

Here’s how to make it:

• 1 part apple cider
• 1 part Aperol
• 1 part sparkling wine
• 1 part sparkling water
• Cinnamon + apple garnish

The verdict?
A crisp, cozy, refreshing crowd-pleaser, just give it a good stir before sipping and here is the Reel for you to check.

Looking Ahead

Thank you for being here, for reading, sharing, trusting, supporting, and being part of this little corner of creativity and real estate. This upcoming break is just a breath, and 2026 is going to be bigger, clearer, and more creatively aligned than anything we’ve done before.

As we get ready to wrap up the year, I hope you enjoy your home, enjoy your people, and enjoy the season.

The market is continuing to reward strategy, patience, and purpose.
So whether you're looking to buy, build, renovate, or simply bring fresh life into a space, the best time to begin is always with clarity.
