Curated by Jessica: DECEMBER Highlights

Wow wow wow 2025 đź‘€
This year started strong and somehow ended even stronger.
And more than anything, I didn’t do it alone.
My business grew exponentially in the desert because of the people who showed up alongside me - clients who trusted me, collaborators who believed in the vision, teammates and partners who were willing to build together.
The work deepened this year: land use and entitlements, real estate transactions, renovations, and development strategy. I found my stride supporting developers and investors through finding land, supporting the build, and bringing it full circle through thoughtful marketing and resale.
I also learned when to refer out, which brought me closer to other local realtors who are now collaborators and friends.
Community over competition changed everything.
In the middle of it all, my autoimmune flare showed up. In the past, that would’ve stopped everything. This time, it didn’t because I leaned on support, honored my body, and learned stronger boundaries. I learned that not everyone will understand your season, and that’s okay. Some of the hardest lessons came from people I didn’t expect to lose. I’m grateful for the clarity that came with that.
When I first moved to Joshua Tree, I mapped out a plan: find the land, support the build, tell the story. Of course, it didn’t happen exactly as planned as there were pivots, doubts, and moments I wondered if it would all fall apart. But little by little, that vision became my new now. If you’re just starting and scared, or deep in the middle wondering if it’s worth it, this is your reminder to stay with it.
I didn’t hike as much this year. I missed most parties and dinners. I left a lot of messages unread. But I cooked nourishing meals, accepted care, worked with a coach, leaned on building a team, and built wellness into my work instead of waiting for burnout.
This was one of the hardest years of my life.
And I am in complete awe of it.
Thank you to every client, collaborator, friend, and supporter who was part of 2025. There are way too many to tag. I would love to hear from you in the comments.
What’s your favorite moments together this year?
Watch Cure Design Style 2025 recap reel

As we head into 2026, my focus is sharper than ever:
fewer assumptions, stronger foundations, and decisions that hold up long-term - financially, structurally, and strategically.
This year is about clarity before commitment.
Education before execution.
And building projects that are intentional from day one.
And yes… early 2026 brings a few things I’m deeply excited about:
• Strategic real estate guides designed to help you assess risk and feasibility before you buy or build
• Live strategy conversations for those who want context, patterns, and real-world insight
• Elevated advisory and team-led execution for complex projects navigating permits, land use, compliance, and development pathways in California
More details soon as I’m rolling this out thoughtfully and with intention in 2026.

Get Interviewed: Bonrepos Ceramics - Alexandre De Bonrepos
Some people don’t just make things, they bring calm, presence, and intention into a space.
I first met @bonrepos.ceramics during a weekend stay at @hotel.wren. A casual conversation in the lobby turned into a deep dive into his craft: handcrafting ceramic lamps and vessels out of his home studio in Twentynine Palms. His pieces carry the quiet, grounded energy of the desert itself, thoughtful, tactile, and made to last.
From backyard experiments in L.A. to a dedicated high desert studio, Alexandre’s work reflects patience, precision, and a love for materiality. Each lamp, each vessel, each floral pot tells a story of intentional design and slow, mindful making.

Healthy Homes, Smart Investments
Wellness has reshaped travel, hospitality, and investment. Home design is next.
In desert markets like Joshua Tree, buyers and guests are paying closer attention to air quality, thermal comfort, materials, and long-term operating costs.
I sat down with architect Andrea Keller of @four_d_design to talk about passive rammed earth homes, and why they’re not a trend, but a smart development strategy.
âś” Healthier, non-toxic interiors
âś” Natural temperature regulation
âś” Lower energy demand
âś” Durable, low-maintenance construction
âś” Strong alignment with wellness-driven buyers and travelers
Through Cure Designs Project Management, we help plan and execute healthy, climate-adapted desert homes, from zoning and feasibility to design coordination and build strategy.

A Love Note to Clients & Community
As 2025 comes to a close, I keep thinking about how many conversations started with:
“Can you help me fix this?”
And then… we did.
From boulder-filled land and desert cabins, to renovations, permit problem-solving, ADA compliance, and development projects that required patience and precision, we figured it out together.
This year looked like:
• stress turning into clarity
• “is this even possible?” becoming a real plan
• clients no longer carrying it all alone
I’m deeply grateful for the collaboration this year, with clients, fellow realtors, builders, designers, and local entrepreneurs who continue to prove that meaningful work can happen in the middle of the desert.
Serving on the Planning Commission in Twentynine Palms continues to ground me in why this work matters: thoughtful planning, community impact, and long-term vision.
Thank you for trusting me with your problems, your projects, and your ideas, even the half-formed ones.
